Graphic Designer

Due to our continued expansion and further growth plan within the business, we are currently in the process of establishing an “In-House” design and marketing team to work closely with the Director(s) of Sabur Ink Systems and its sister companies. This is a very exciting time for someone to join one of the UK’s largest Digital Textile supply companies with the introduction of both new products in to the portfolio and a newly extended “Digital Show Suite”

Job Brief

We are looking for a creative in-house Graphic designer with up-to-date knowledge to interpret our needs and to design solutions with high visual impact. You will be required to work on a variety of products, including websites, Email marketing, social media, exhibitions, corporate identity, photography and photo-editing etc. Working closely with our directors and sales team this newly created role will be a very much a “Hands On” position where your flair and imagination would be used to create both high impact and creative solutions.

You will be able to create visual concepts, by using up to date industry leading computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate both new and existing customers.

The main objective is to further develop the Sabur brand and increase market representation.

Salary: £17000 – £20000 p/annum (depending on experience)

Required Skills

Essential Required Skills

Proven work experience as a graphic designer.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Possession of exceptional creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and innovation.
Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio of minimum 3 years.
Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen.
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
Proficiency in software and technologies (In Design, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop etc) or other visual design and wire – framing tools.
Highly proficient in all design aspects.
Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines.
Stay up-to-date with industry developments/trends, emerging technologies and apply them into operations and activities.

Desirable Skills

Below skills would be highly desirable but not essential

Familiarity working with modern HTML/CSS.
Suggest new features to improve program navigation and operation.
Programming skills.
HTML, CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
