Showcase Signs – Mimaki UCJV150

The cathedral city of Lincoln is home to a signage business that is fast making a real name for itself throughout the country and the industry.

Showcase Signs Ltd are a family-run business that has now been in existence for six years, and Director Simon Balfe’s target is “aiming to bring our customers the best service that we can, with a broad spectrum of signage solutions in both the public and private sector. We have our own professional graphic design team and consultants in-house, and with the latest printing technology at their disposal that are able to offer a high-quality service at a competitive price.”

So, should you want evidence of the quality of their work, simply head to the Showcase Signs Ltd website and have a look at its Testimonial section. Customer service that is second-to-none ensures that the company has any number of returning and repeat custom, bringing with it a well-earned reputation for customer satisfaction. Balfe takes this up….

“It’s something that is extremely important to us. The personal service we offer to all our clients, including sharp one-to-one attention to detail ensures that our clients and customers receive not only the best quality, best value bespoke signage – they get the customer service that they need, want and deserve, too!”

Simon Balfe is not only the Director of the company – he’s known as the heart of Showcase Signs Ltd, too. After originally qualifying as a graphic designer, he progressed into the management of a traditional bespoke signage company who were trading for 40years. He set up Showcase Signs Ltd in 2013, and they now offer quality signs, design and printing services to all businesses and private customers – specialising in housing development signage, standard industrial health and safety and festival and promotional events.

And a big part of the company’s ongoing success is using the very best and latest digital printing technology. They are committed to investing in state-of-the-art machinery, and that’s why Sabur Digital were recently delighted to supply them with a Mimaki UCJV 150-160. This prints high-quality UV curable ink images to the wider 1600mm size for producing larger banners.

The burgeoning relationship between the two successful companies is reaping rewards, and seems to be a natural alliance that excites the Showcase Signs director…..

“Yes, like Showcase, Sabur are a very reputable company who provide outstanding personal support and advice to their customers. Having had this support for several years now, it has been invaluable and places them far above many of their competitors.”

Part of Showcase Sign’s dedication towards progress and growth has seen them launch a new website. It’s a fundamental part of the company’s growth strategy to increase online sales, with the new website being focussed on UX design. As Balfe admits, “We want the user-experience needs to flow freely and easily for a one-stop-shop-and-buy approach. Businesses want their corporate signage to have simplicity and ease at bargain prices, and having a new, customer-friendly website is an important part of this.”

Showcase Sign’s online vision for the future is to develop an online hub for businesses to have their own login and order with ease to grow and stream line their manufacturing. With the growth made over the period that they have been in business, this will be a case of when and not if. And at Sabur Digital, we are proud to be working alongside them, and we’ll be with them every step along the way.
