FEATURES & BENEFITS

Benefit

ETS Subli Ink

SUBLI are the new E.T.S. inks for ink-jet printing of sublimatic transfers. The inks are in a water phase; six standard colours are available cyan, magenta, yellow, black, light cyan and light magenta.

ETS inks are market leaders. They produce brilliant prints on a huge range of materials. Reliable and consitant colour.

6 Colour CMYKLcLm printing

The SolJet™ Pro III XJ range features 6-colour (CMYKLcLm) ink sets, which produce higher colour quality, wider gamut and tonal density for stunning images in any print mode.

The system operates with 6, 1 litre Ink bottles for maximum production flexibility.

Great print quality using piezo print technology

The SolJet™ Pro III precisely controls droplet placement in both the print head travel and paper feed directions to provide up to 1440 x 1440 dpi resolution. It uses a digital servomotor to control the media and features piezo print heads. Variable droplet technology uses micro-precise ink droplets of three different sizes depending on the type of output. This state-of-the-art technology delivers truly breathtaking output with beautifully smooth, dot-free tones even at high print speeds.

New precision firing pattern optimises quality at high speeds

When printing at higher speeds, many printers can produce only low density colour with severely reduced image quality. Roland’s unique precision firing pattern has been designed to achieve the highest printing speeds possible, whilst maintaining vibrant high density colours.

The SolJet™ Pro III takes advantage of this advanced firing pattern, which has been optimized for its piezo print heads. The 6-colour CMYKLcLm ink sets produce stunning images with unparalleled image, colour, gamut, density and quality in any print mode. In addition, Roland’s in-line head configuration eliminates the need for lengthy calibration procedures and costly down time.

High quality print at speeds of up to 42m²/hr

The SolJet™ Pro III can produce 360 x 360 dpi prints at 42m²/hr. With one-inch-wide print heads that employ 360 nozzles each, the system can print large prints in minutes, enabling you to produce high volumes of quality print work efficiently – increasing your revenue and helping to grow your business.

Easier Media Setup

The SolJet™ Pro III has been designed to be even easier to load and set up.  It has media guide markings on the reverse of the printing platen, variable head heights for different thickness materials, larger and stronger ‘non-marking’ pinch and grip rollers, it can have up to eight pre-programmed media setups and even be loaded with reverse wound materials.  All these features enable the operator to setup more quickly and get printing faster.

The integrated take up roller supports up to 50Kg

The SolJet™ Pro III features an upgraded media feed and take-up system accommodating rolls of up to 50Kg. It really is a true production printer enabling unattended high volume printing, giving you extra time to attend to your business.

New design pinch rollers enhance image quality through even the longest print runs. In addition, the SolJet™ Pro III features media guides, a vacuum platen and twin head heights to ensure correct media feed for thin or lighter media.

Integrated tri-heater system

The SolJet™ Pro III’s integrated tri-heater system dries prints quickly even in high-speed modes for immediate finishing, installation or collection by the take-up system. The system features three components: a pre-heater that improves media receptiveness, a print heater to accelerate ink fastness and brightness, and a dryer to accelerate the drying process and improve productivity, workability and scratch resistance. All can be controlled from either the printer panel or Roland VersaWorks™.
